CHANUKAH RAP, by Meridith Shaw Patera, is a high energy, fun, rhythmic musical play that tells the story of Chanukah through rap, dance and song. WE ARE LOOKING FOR 15 RAPPERS, AND UP TO 20 NON-SPEAKING ROLES TO HELP TELL OUR STORY. This play is great for kids from 6 to 14 years old. The rap parts are fairly short and some students may enjoy taking on more than one role. We hope you join us in this Temple Beth El community presentation. Please contact Kathy Mazur at mazur1021@chartermi.netor 238 - 1635. You will be contacted about our first meeting.
We hope that you will join us on Friday, December 3 for a evening full of Hanukkah celebrations. The evening will start with our TBE Hanukkah Theatre performance of Hanukkah Rap from 5 – 5:30 pm. Immediately following the Hanukkah Rap will be the pre-service Oneg Shabbat that will give us all some food before heading into 6 pm Kabbalat Shabbat Services. We will all share latkes and other delicious food at the Congregational Dinner at 7 pm. With the Hanukkah Rap starting us off, this should be a great way to spend Hanukkah together. We hope you will participate in the Rap and join us for the performance and the rest of the evening.
